“Parlez-moi” embodies a longing for both a connection to the natural world and an understanding of the past, reminding us that such understanding is imperative in order to move to the future. The composer and arranger have conveyed the meaning of the text through musical lines that imitate the flexibility of speech with a rubato that sweeps the listener forward and then relaxes.

« Parlez-moi » incarne à la fois un désir de se lier au monde naturel et de comprendre le passé, tout en sachant qu’une telle compréhension reste impérative avant de suivre l’avenir. Le compositeur et l’arrangeur ont rendu le texte par des lignes musicales qui imitent la souplesse de la parole, et par un rubato qui entraîne la mélodie, puis la détend.
